Brand new dates and a whole new format for kick-starting design: Salone del Mobile.Milano 2021 will be held in September under the name Supersalone.
For this special 2021 event the curator will be Stefano Boeri. He will work together with a team of young international architects and curators to create an innovative and unique edition, focused on promoting the companies’ latest products, technologies and projects. It will pick up “the threads” of a conversation interrupted in person, whilst leaving relationships and contact with the market, professionals, clients and fans in their own right intact.

More than 423 brands and 50 independent designers, 170 projects by 48 international design schools, the most influential figures on the creative scene today, 110 Compasso d’Oro award-winning chairs, six great chefs, five films selected by MDFF, 200 trees from Forestami. All in the name of sustainability: preventing 1.2 million kilograms of CO2 from being released into the atmosphere by recycling all the display components. A supersalone well worth visiting in person but also available digitally on the Salone website.
